Anyways they were super cool and didnt give attitude like I got from the guy at cap mall. He made it seem like I was annoying him that I was even there and asking anything.
Guess he got attitude from the cool kids in school so this is his way of giving it back. In that world he is the cool kid and he certainly makes you feel like the loser for asking a simple question about a video game!! Okay well this is a positive review actually because this stores employees rock!! Cap mall not so much! Albert H. So if you ever happen to come around to this part of the neighborhood and want to buy some PS 2 games for nostalgia reasons or just for no reason at all but to play it, I would desperately recommend you come to this place as the employees there are generally quite friendly and are always in the mood to help you find whatever you might be looking for when it comes to games.
Simon K. The hours at this store are real good, as it is not located in a mall where I have to walk from my parked car through many stores before I get to my location. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendlyness and service at this EB Games. I actually got to know one of the guys that worked at the Gamestop on Cambie, and his knowledge of upcoming games is next to none. Even the females here, know there stuff, and enjoy talking to their customers.
The store is big, and as I said before, the hours are real good, usually from 10 AM to 9 PM on weekdays. It took me a few tries to visit because I kept showing up just after 9 pm only to find out that it was closing and that I missed it there were quite a few others who were turned away besides me as well , but I finally got to go near the end of December.
Wow, was it ever worth it. It was WAY larger than we expected too. There were different sections with different colour themes which made it all that much more exciting. As neither of us had visited before, we took our time and walked around slowly soaking it all in twice.
The displays were amazing, colourful, and glittering. The timing was great too as there was snow on the ground which helped make it feel magical, wintery, and reminiscent. I also visited their restrooms while I was there which were tricky to find, but nice, warm, and clean once I did. I would definately recommend visiting to see the lights again. We could have stayed longer but it started raining pretty hard. We made a donation happily and went in. And loved it! Go check it out before they take the lights down!!! Kevin B. The well maintained garden is always changing and is really wonderful. There are so many beautiful plants and trees and two fountains to sit and meditate by. Birds and butterflies fluttering about make it a really pleasant place to drink a coffee or munch your lunch too.
